Our Bali tour driver will pick you up at your lobby hotel in the morning about 8 am then drive to start point of Telaga Waja River Rafting in Rendang, Karangasem Regency, eastern part of Bali Island, takes about 1,5 hour drive from famous tourist area such us Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, Denpasar, Nusa Dua area.
Telaga Waja River is one of the longest river on east Bali starts to run southward Bali from southern slope of mount Abang. The Telaga Waja River begins in the foothills of the sacred Mount Agung, the river has white clear water, nature life, green plantation surrounding and cold natural spring water, onward to the area of Klungkung Regency ends on the sea. Literally, Telaga means pool or lake while waja meas metal. There is no reference why this river called Telaga Waja.
Length of rafting trip is approximately 12 kilometers take about 2-2.5 hours. Telaga Waja River has class 3+ rapids. Water that flowed freely with few riffles and boulders as obstacles to be a great choice for the adventurer to adrenaline as well as test your guts. Besakih Temple considered most important temple in Bali consist of 23 seperate temples that can be explored by tourist must be companied by tour guide.
The Pura Besakih temples are thought to date back to the 14th century, however some locals date them back as early as the 10th century. Pura Besakih made the world spotlight in 1963 when the temple - thought to have been saved by the Gods - miraculously survived a devastating eruption by Mount Agung. Pura Besakih was nominated as a potential UNESCO World Heritage Site.
