Taman Ayun Temple: Bedugul Tanah Lot Sunset Tour's first stop will be at Taman
Ayun Temple, located at Mengwi Village, Mengwi District belong Badung Regency about 18 kilometers from Denpasar City. Taman Ayun literally translates as a beautiful garden and is regarded as one of the most attractive temples in Bali. It was built in 1634 by the King of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung. The temple is surrounded by a moat where the people can do fishing in their leisure time. The temple is dedicated to the ancestor of the Mengwi Dynasty and other important Gods. Taman Ayun Temple is regarded as the "mother temple" of Mengwi Kingdom. Taman Ayun Temple is so beautiful, divided into 3 courts/ground and we can find a row of Meru, multi roof shrine.
Bali Agro Tourism: Our tour will be a continued drive toward Bedugul mountain resort. On the way, we will make a stop for a break by visiting Bali agro-tourism. If you are a coffee lover, you will enjoy this place. Here we can sample them in different varieties of coffee, tea, and cocoa for free unless Coffee Luwak. Coffee Luwak is one of the most famous among them. Coffee Luwak is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and digested by civets (animal-like puma) and then roasted into coffee powder. Bali agro tourism is also good for children where we can observe any kind of Bali tropical plantation, fruit, and remedy. Local people plant coffee, clove, vanilla, and others because the climate is cool and suitable for these plantations. By visiting these places, you will be close to nature and give support to local people to maintain our green clean environment.
Bedugul: Our next destination is Bedugul mountain resort by visiting Beratan Lake and its temple, Ulun Danu Temple which takes about a 20-minute drive from Bali Agro Tourism. Bedugul is located on the main north-south road between Denpasar and Singaraja in a cool damp mountain country, an excellent base for walking trips around the lakes and surrounding hills. The beauty of the countryside will welcome you until we make a stop at Beratan Lake. Tourists can access Beratan Lake through the dock which has been provided or desist around Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. In this place, the visitor can do various activities like doing recreation to look around on the dock or do other outdoor activities/water sports such as parasailing, motor boating, jet skiing, canoeing, fishing, or just relaxing, enjoying breathtaking panorama with clean cool air. The most picturesque is Ulun Danu Temple with its Meru, a small temple complex on the edge of the lake.
Bali Spice Market: In Bedugul

The higher altitude of Bedugul allows a wider range of fruits and vegetables to be grown than elsewhere in Bali. The colorful little market offers a wide selection of products such as bananas, passion fruit, snack fruit, casava cracker, including strawberries which thrive well in these areas. This is the place to pick up exotic spices such as saffron for just a dollar or so. For the more adventurous, a variety of Indonesian snacks and drinks, such as the wonderful liquid yogurt in flavors such as mango are worth trying.
Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest: After having lunch at one of the local restaurants in Pacung which have a nice view of the rice terrace, we continued our tour to visit Alas Kedaton monkey forest located at Kukuh Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, about 30 minutes drive from Bedugul. In this forest, there is a temple called Alas Kedaton Temple which owns a pure environment that is appeared inexperienced with its recent air and creates a calm, quiet and holy atmosphere. The monkeys in Alas Kedaton are tame and free gallivanting in the temple yard, order that the calm environment is sometimes solved by the noise voice of the monkey, that is enjoying round and scrambling for food.
