This special tour package is dedicated to Bali visitors who want to explore Bali's marvelous exotic view of eastern Bali and see the mountain of Mt.Agung from Lempuyang Temple. After doing selfy photos with a stunning panorama of eastern Bali at Lepuyang Temple, the tour will be continued to visit Tirta Gangga water palace and Taman Ujung's built-in combination of western and Bali architecture ornament. All these tourist destinations visited are located in Karangasem Regency, the eastern part of Bali Island.

Pick you up at your lobby hotel in the morning at about 08.00, then drive to the east of Bali Island. On the way to Lempuyang Temple, the spectacular coastal roads of eastern Bali is an adventure in their own right, with green hills on one side and stunning cliffs and raw ocean views on the other. We have a stop at Candi Dasa Beach. Candidasa is the most popular beach resort along Bali's east coast, located 85 km north-east of the Bali airport, is a relaxing beach area close to Padang Bay seaport connecting Bali Island with Lombok or Gili Islands by ferry or boat / fast boat. At Candi Dasa Beach you can enjoy a quiet seaside escape, far from the crowds and busier traffic scenes of the island's south. The main road of Jalan Raya Candidasa runs parallel to the shoreline, lined with varying accommodations from basic hotels to five-star resorts, good shops, bars, and restaurants in between. The beach itself features a sequence of sandy shores and breakwaters.

Lempuyang Temple locally referred to as Pura Lempuyang Luhur, is one of Bali's oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (the mother temple of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely, a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175 meters above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali. Adventurous (and reasonably fit) travelers may hike up to the top temple, which is a four-hour round-trip in total. Along the way, visitors will pass six other temples and can see beautiful vistas before finally arriving at Pura Lempuyang Luhur. Locals believe one must never complain on the way up. If one complains, one will not make it to the top. Those who make it to the top are rewarded with a peaceful sanctuary and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Tirta Gangga means water of Gangga is one of the water palaces in Bali, located at Ababi Village, belonging to Karangasem Regency, about 90 km from Denpasar International Airport. Tirta Gangga is a convenient stopover along tour itineraries to Bali's eastern region. Its main entrance and large parking area are easily spotted from the main Amlapura Road. The site is open to the public and a small entrance fee applies which goes towards maintenance. The former royal palace of Tirta Gangga means that the water in the Palace came from the Gangga River as the Hindu holy river has tiered fountains, tropical gardens, and carvings of mystical creatures that spout water into bathing pools. Just outside the palace area, the lush rice paddies in the northeast of Bali are very stunning. The gardens of the Bali water palace in Tirtagangga were designed and constructed in 1948 by Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem (1887 - 1966), who was the last Raja (King) of Karangasem. He was a remarkable man, to say the least, not only because he was the architect of the water gardens, but also because he helped with the construction of the gardens. Tirta Gangga covers an area of about 1,2 ha and consists of three separate complexes each with ponds and many sculptures. The complex on the lowest level has two large ponds and a water tower. At the second complex (middle level) of the Bali water palace are the swimming pools. The third level houses the main complex with the country home of the former Raja. The water of Tirtagangga has always been regarded as holy and is regularly used for religious temple ceremonies. On important celebration days, Tirtagangga is the destination of colorful processions with offerings, umbrellas, flags, and other tributes.

The other water palace is Taman Ujung about 10 km from Tirta Gangga. In Tumbu village, where the charming Karangasem countryside takes over the view, we will visit Taman Ujung constructed by the late King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Djelantik who reigned from 1909 until 1945. It was built to welcome and serve visiting dignitaries and kings from neighboring countries, besides for the pleasure of the king and his royal family. Loosely translated to "the garden on the far end", Taman Ujung is unique with old omissions and beautiful fish ponds that surround its premises, while keeping the high-value history of the empire of Karangasem in East Bali. The architecture is a blend of several cultures: a western style was implemented for the gazebo, the arches are Middle Eastern, and the plentiful detailed carvings are Balinese.
