In additional, a total of 20 officers at Lempuyang Temple in charge for one shift have different assignment. Their duties are divided into attendant of donation counter, rental of sarungs, instructor for the use of sarong, prohibition sign escort inside the temple and others. It aims to keep visitors from not going too far like going up to the shrines.
The other duty of the officers is arranging the photo shot queue at Candi Bentar (split gate) and Mount Agung scenery as background. Now, tourists have been provided with a place to queue. Thus, no tourists mill about or grab one another to take picture with the background of Mount Agung which often occurred before the queuing was arranged. Tourists are also patient enough to wait for their turn to take pictures.
To maintain the holiness and solemnity of pilgrims coming to Lempuyang Temple, tourists are only allowed to make a visit until the end of the stairs and not allowed to enter into the innermost courtyard if they only intend to take a pictures. Travelers wishing to pray can enter the innermost courtyard.
